I have been calling for 2 weeks straight. I spoke to Donna one time and she was very short with me and told me that the person I needed was on lunch break and to call back at 2. (Three hours later than I was calling) I have been calling every day since then and I can't get anyone to answer the phone and all the vm boxes are full.Posted on Google![]()

I have depended on them for 8 years to try to help me with my epilepsy. My seizures are mostly stressed induced and I tell you what, MEMPHIS NEUROLOGY WILL STRESS YOU OUT SO BEWARE!!!! They used to be on top of their game, but have fallen off so bad over the past few years and I am switching providers. I am so tired of begging (literally almost to the point of getting on my hands and knees) to get basic seizure meds refilled, get them filled CORRECTLY (like 2 at night doesn’t equal 30 pills a month and I go through this every month). When I started seeing Tina Woodsen it absolutely went all the way downhill. I had to make an appointment bc I hadn’t been seen for 7 months (they have to see you every 6 months). Ok, got it. When I noticed my meds getting low and no refill I called for a refill and this is when they told me I needed an appointment. Said they would give me enough meds to make it to appointment. THEY NEVER DID THAT NO MATTER HOW MUCH I CALLED AND CRIED AND BEGGED AND TOLD THEM I WAS SCARED OF DYING FROM A SEIZURE. I was ignored, brushed off…. Like a nobody…. Like I don’t matter. And mind you, I PAY CASH TO SEE THESE PEOPLE…. They no longer take my insurance. After a week and a half of no seizure meds I went to my appoint with Tina Woodsen and I told her that I wanted a referral to another neurologist, I WAS DONE!!! TINA WOODSEN TOLD ME THAT I DID NOT HAVE TO HAVE A REFERRAL AND JUST CALL THE OFFICE AND MAKE AN APPOINTMENT…. If I am lying- lighting strike me now!!!!! So I left. She ended up giving me a years worth of refills after I did tell her that I had contracted an attorney. WHICH I CERTAINLY DID. Of course, when I called a new neurologist to schedule an appointment they thought I was crazy bc I thought I could just call a specialist and make an appointment without a referral. ITS LIKE MEMPHIS NEUROLOGY JUST HAD TO GET ME ONE MORE TIME!!!! Now, I have been on the phone for 4 days trying to get someone there to send my referral and records. They told me to fill out a form online, did that….. just called today, 3 days later…. They don’t know anything about it. PLEASE JUST STAY AWAY FROM HERE AND ESPECIALLY TINA WOODSEN!!!!!!!!!Posted on Google![]()

Dianne has no clue what she is talking about on the phone. You tell me you offer a select service then turn around say you don’t. Get it together and know your practice in full. Telling people inaccurate information is truly a waste of time. Seek help, thanks.Posted on Google![]()

Staff is rude. They are lazy and don't listen. They don't understand that max out of pocket. You have paid everything you have to pay. Its take 2 months to get scheduled for botox injection and they are not prepared.Posted on Google![]()

Have spent over 2 years trying to get them to correct a billing mistake they made when billing for my family member's telehealth appointment. My family member and I have both contacted them, and have provided them with the insurance they SHOULD have billed, and yet I was contacted today by a collection agency-for a bill I don't even have financial responsibility for. Reached out to the billing dept, only to be told that the insurance that was in effect at the time was billed at the time of the appointment (in April) but showed it wasn't effective until September. My family member called less than an hour later and was told that the correct insurance was billed, but the telehealth appt was charged to the deductible (should have been a standard office visit copay). The insurance company says that Memphis Neuro likely billed the visit entirely wrong, because it's showing out of network, and they're giving us conflicting stories. In the meantime, my family member could no longer be seen by the provider they'd been seeing, or any other provider at this practice, due to the lingering charges that they failed to timely bill the correct insurance company the correct way for.Posted on Google![]()

I was very disappointed with my experience at Memphis Neurology. After aging out of pediatrics, I was assigned to an adult provider through their office. When I tried to reschedule, I was initially given an unclear explanation that made it seem like my age was the reason. Only after I asked for clarification was I told it was actually because of a “do not reschedule” note in my chart due to missed appointments. I completely understand that clinics have attendance policies, but what was most disappointing was the lack of empathy and communication. I had already explained that my missed appointments were related to significant mental health struggles and apologized for them. Instead of acknowledging that or communicating the policy clearly from the beginning, the responses felt cold and dismissive. Policies are understandable. Treating patients with compassion and communicating honestly should be too. I hope they improve how they speak to patients who are going through difficult times.Load more
